With an innate fascination for crafting an unforgettable vibe, Victoria brings a unique blend of creativity, attention to detail, and entrepreneurial spirit to the world of interior design. Since she can remember, putting deep thought into hosting and setting an ambience has been a true passion - from binging cooking shows as a child and spending hours with her mom learning to be a homemaker, to setting up elaborate tea parties for her aunts and grandmothers as a young teenager. This has translated into Victoria’s adult life as an interior designer, as she believes that each and every space can be given a unique mood that captivates its visitors. Victoria’s entrepreneurial background traces back to 2018, when she began a vintage designer resell business while studying at the University at Albany, which would become successful enough to support her throughout college. She later attended the Aesthetics Science Institute where she would obtain her esthetics license, with plans of starting an eyelash extension business. Lashes By Tori has been in business for over four years now, serving clients in the greater capital district and in Burlington, Vermont. In addition, her professional path has been greatly shaped by esteemed collaborations, including a seven-year tenure as a trusted assistant to NYC business mogul Jennifer Crisafulli Oberting, a notable contestant on Season 2 of NBC's "The Apprentice." At the age of nineteen, Victoria got her first introduction to the design world, partnering with a Manhattan-based proprietor to stage and manage her first Airbnb. The success of this property led her to ultimately design and operate nearly ten units, earning over three hundred and fifty reviews which averaged 4.8 out of 5 stars - many of which highlighted the design and ambience of the units. This first professional experience with interior design sparked passion in Tori and planted the seed of wanting to pursue a career in the industry. Now managing her time between servicing her lash clients and working on design projects, Victoria’s professional life is harmoniously balanced, which keeps her engaged and excited, as is reflected in her work. Recently completing the lengthy renovation and design process of a cannabis dispensary, Victoria has been apprenticing under the wing of acclaimed designer, Laura Austin. The experience and knowledge she has gained while working with Laura has been an invaluable, hands-on lesson in design and business that she could not be more appreciative of. Victoria’s aptitude for the beauty, fashion and design fields, undoubtedly intertwine between her businesses, as they inspire each other and build off of one another.
